Established in December 1988, DSC Security started off in a small office in Bracknell. At first, owners Ian Jolley and Les Rayment focused mainly on supplying and installing locks, safes, and access control equipment. However, the growing demand for CCTV and Intruder Alarm Systems led us to expand our services to a shop space on Crowthorne High Street in 1990.
By January 1998 DSC Security had acquired a local intruder alarm company 4KL Security. This new addition brought their core clientele of home builders to our books, allowing us to establish good relationships with many developers. Over the years, we’ve undergone several changes but our dedication to remaining one of the Thames Valley’s leading security companies has never wavered.

The mission of DSC Security as a Company and the team of staff individually is:

- To communicate fully, accurately & respectfully with our customers and with colleagues to ensure that neither feel let down at any time

Awards and Accreditations
1988 – Became a member of the Master Locksmiths Association (MLA)
1993 – Achieved accreditation from the National Approval Council for Security Systems (NACOSS)
1996 – Achieved BS EN ISO 9002 Quality Assurance accreditation
1999 – Joined the British Security Industry Association (BSIA)
2001 – Earned the ‘Gold Shield’ from our Alarm Receiving Centre which recognises companies for achieving the lowest number of false alarms over a period of 1 year
2003 – Achieved BS EN ISO 9001:2000 accreditation, a NACOSS Gold Certification for the installation of Intruder Alarms, Access Control and CCTV.
2010 – Achieved BS EN ISO 9001:2008 accreditation
2013 – Celebrate our 25th year in business
2017 – Awarded the Pride of Bracknell Forest Business of the Year Award voted for by our local customers
2018 – Achieved BS EN ISO 9001:2015 accreditation
2018 – Celebrate our 30th year in business
