Alarm Maintenance

The first 12 months maintenance is free on new installations.

A dsc security alarm installation will be covered by a 12 month guarantee with free maintenance (parts and labour) for that period, should any problem arise caused by faulty equipment or poor workmanship.  We also guarantee an engineer will  attend your property within 4 hours in an emergency 24 hours a day, if a problem compromises teh security of the property and cannot be cured over the telephone.  We will carry out a free preventive maintenance service within the guarantee period normally at about 12 months from installation (ever 6 months if monitored by our ARC). Any call-outs to rectify faults which have been caused by outside influences such as accidental damage, damage caused by weather, insects, rodents, power failures, power surges, acts of God, user error or interference by anyone other than DSC personnel will be chargeable to cover the labour at the appropriate rates and materials if necessary.  Towards the end of the Guarantee period, you will be offered an annual maintenance contract and service plan which we strongly recommend you consider taking out.  Please also not that your NACOSS certificate is invalid if you do not have an alarm maintenance plan in place, and if your insurance company require you to have an alarm system to protect your contents your insurance cover may be compromised.

If your alarm maintenance is not renewed at an anniversary date, we will still be available to visit to sort out any alarm problems you may have, but as a non-maintained customer the call-out charge will be higher, other maintained customers would take priority and we would only attend during normal working hours.

For maintained customers our engineers are available out of office hours to help with any problem over the phone if possible or visiting if necessary whatever the hour!
