Master Keyed Suites
If your Security, senior staff, cleaners etc. have to carry around bunches of keys for individual locks, a Master Suite of lock cylinders is the simple answer.
The ability to enable authorised persons to open a number of cylinder locks (including mortice locks, rim locks, padlocks, cabinet locks etc.) with just one key without compromising security for holders of individual keys, is becoming increasingly more important in the modern commercial building.
As members of the Master Locksmiths Association, dsc security employ qualified MBLI members of staff who are able to assess, advise, plan, provide and install key locking Master Suites to suit any requirements.
From a simple system up to a sophisticated Grand Master system with sub-Master suites, sub-Master keys and servant keys, we are able to accommodate any request. With the help of computer technology to avoid ‘cross-keying’, and back-up from the cylinder manufacturers that specialise in providing Master Suited cylinders, you can be assured that all Master Suites can be relied upon to provide exactly the level of security you need.
To ensure key security, Master
suites will be produced using registered keys which can only be
duplicated by presenting the correct authority in writing by the
system managers/owners to dsc security who hold the registration
documents. There are different levels of security but the one
favoured by most of our customers is a system where keys are unique
to dsc security and only able to be duplicated by
dsc security……no-one else! This protects key security integrity and
keeps track of how many keys are issued against each lock and how
many Grand Master, Master, Sub-Master and Servant keys have been
issued.
Example of a simple Master Suite.

The Master key is held by the Managing Director so he can open any of the 3 Offices on the Master Suite. Each Employee has their own key which will ONLY open their Office but will not open either of the other two.
