Alarm Maintenance
The first 12 months maintenance is free on new installations.
Firstly the alarm system is an outright sale and is a one off purchase by you. It is no form of rental. During the first year the contract (5*) is fully inclusive, all parts, call out and labour charges are covered to any equipment related problems, Anything beyond our control (e.g. vandalism / wilful damage) would be chargeable. Some companies charge for 'out of normal office hours' even during your first twelve months, with dsc security this is not the case.
Around twelve months from the date of installation we return and service the system (bells only) or two visits during the first 12 months of the system being installed (communicated systems only) the first service visits are free. Then a contract is offered for the following year. Contracts are optional, however your NACOSS certification becomes invalid if you do not have a current maintenance contract and cover a maximum period of twelve months, that is to say you are not required to sign up to three, five or ten year contracts.
All call out and labour charges to any equipment related problems throughout the twelve months.
Twenty four hour emergency service is available, we only respond to contract customers out of hours to ensure priority is given to those who pay for this service.
Call out engineers are available three hundred and sixty five days a year, their response, knowledge and ability is second to none.
Remember phone lines are manned twenty four hours a day; one phone call is all it takes.
Please remember everything is covered for the first twelve months and maintenance contracts with dsc security are purely optional, however it may be a requirement of your insurance company to continue to have your system maintained, particularly if you have negotiated a discount, as your NACOSS certification is invalid without a current maintenance contract. We would recommend you check your position with your broker before rejecting any maintenance contract.
