currently employ 5 members of the British Locksmiths Institute
(BLI) which is the membership section of the Master
Locksmiths Association (MLA). This is a
professional qualification and enables the member to place the
letters MBLI after their names. The currant
certificates are proudly on display in
our shop premises to show the level of
professionalism and experience we have in this field of security.
dsc security are therefore able to provide a professional and comprehensive service with trained and experienced staff to carry out the many aspects covered under the Locksmithing umbrella.
The list below shows many of the services dsc security are able to provide:-
- Key-cutting professionally to pattern or to code
- Keys made to lock if no key is available - alternative to a complete new lock
- Re-Keying locks with new pins/levers/keys - alternative to a complete new lock if key security has been compromised.
- Repairs and servicing of locks - extends the life of a lock
- Installation of locks professionally to wooden, metal. aluminium, uPVC doors or windows.
- Picking open of many varieties of locks to avoid damaging the lock or door it is fitted to.
- Drilling open of higher security locks which are difficult to open by conventional picking methods - normally only one small hole is drilled in the correct place, the door can then be repaired easily and the lock replaced.
- Door Closers can be adjusted, or replaced if necessary.
- Safes can be installed.
- Safes can be serviced and repaired.
- Safes can be picked or manipulated open without damage up to a certain level - we are able to call in specialists to open high security safes.
