BS EN 50131-1:2006 Latest Regulations for Intruder Alarms.

The new EN regulations for Intruder & Hold-up Systems was at last published, dated October 2006. It has been given the status of a British Standard.  All new alarm systems installed after 1st October 2007 will need to be installed in line with the requirements of this standard and the soon to be published PD 6662:2006/7.

dsc security will as usual be at the forefront of the push to produce systems that are fully compliant with these new regulations, by carefully selecting the components used in the systems we install.  This then has the effect of a lower false alarm rate per system per year. Enabling you our customers to benefit from fewer calls to your alarm systems due to erroneous activations.
